LAUAN502, Study Task 7

Study Task 7

The list of my social medias:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Linkedin
  • Pinterest
  • Dribble
  • Youtube

For all these social media websites I have a personal account where I post pictures of me and my friends or simply just for personal use. On Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest, Dribble, and Youtube I have set up art accounts. However, for most of my art accounts I have never posted any of my designs or work that I do within the University or in my spare time, onto these platforms. The art accounts remain bare and I hope to change this during this year as I want to start to think about ways to get my work notice and professionally placed onto these platforms. The main reason I have not posted any content is because of my confidence issues; I worry that my work does not reach the standards of other individuals talents or that someone may have a negative comment to post on my platform about the standards of my work.

The Timetable

My aim is to create a calendar timetable of when to post so I have a timetable to stick to. This should help me to post every week or maybe more than once a week without fail. I think this will improve my confidence as I will be posting weekly and therefore getting used to the idea of my work being out there for individuals to see. This will also help with me my atheistic design of my social media as I will be working on showing my work in a professional manner as anyone will be able to see my profile.

LAUAN502, Study Task 6

Study Task 6

When doing this spreadsheet I wasn't that surprised with the outcome I got.  I knew that I had to start saving up, because in this university year I would only be working during half-terms and holidays.  I've decided not to work as much in my second year of university because one of my weaknesses in my first year was time management. I struggled to balance my student work, paid-work and social life. This resulted in doing my work at the last minute and not pushing myself further.

My total income came to: £4,951. However, I feel this would of been a lot higher in my first year and possibly quite higher if I worked full-time and was earning money. This proves to me that I am able to save if needs be. As well as learning my money-saving skills, this also makes me realise how much I want to succeed in my job. In a full-time job situation I want to be able to spend a little more money on myself and not have to worry about giving up certain things so I can afford to pay for the more important bills like, my food shop or my rent.
